Nathan Hale Williams – Writer/Director/Producer

Nathan Hale Williams, President and CEO of iN-Hale Entertainment LLC, is a multifaceted talent—an Emmy® nominated director, writer, and producer, as well as a best-selling/award-winning author and entertainment attorney. Named a Black Enterprise Magazine Modern Man of Excellence ®, a GLAAD Media Award® winner, winner of the American Black Film Festival (“ABFF”) for Best Picture, a two-time NAACP Image Award® nominee, and the recipient of the Thurgood Marshall Prestige Award for Excellence, Nathan is a classic storyteller across multiple genres and media. His last film, All Boys Aren’t Blue (Jenifer Lewis, Dyllón Burnside), won two Telly Awards, including one for Nathan’s “Outstanding Direction,” an inaugural Anthem Award, and “Best Narrative Feature” at the NewFest Film Festival. 


In 2022, Nathan was invited and selected for Mara Brock Akil/Story 27 Production’s Writer’s Colony (4-person Cohort) for “the industry’s most promising, emerging screenwriters” where he developed the screenplay for his upcoming narrative feature film, Love Will Save the Day (Sherri Shepherd, Tyler Lepley, Pauletta Washington), which will begin production in May 2025. His next film, Come Together: Art’s Power for Change, is the first film in a documentary series that will premiere in February 2025. 


Nathan’s award-winning short film, 90 DAYS (Teyonah Parris, Pauletta Washington) was screened at over 40 top film festivals receiving multiple “Best” awards, including an African Movie Academy Award (Oscar equivalent) and the Cannes Diversity Showcase – Overall Winner. His feature documentary, IT CAN BE DONE: Ending Homelessness in America, premiered at the prestigious Pan African Film Festival in 2021.


His other film credits include the NAACP Image Award- and GLAAD Media Award-nominated Dirty Laundry (Rockmond Dunbar, Loretta Devine, Jenifer Lewis) (Fox), The Ski Trip (MTV), Love for Passion, and Blackbird (RLJ Entertainment). His television credits include: My Model Looks Better Than Your Model (BET), Leading Women (Centric), The Kimchi Chronicles starring Hugh Jackman and Heather Graham (PBS), and Girls Who Like Boys… (Sundance Channel). 


On Showtime's The American Candidate, Nathan and his former partner, bestselling author, and political commentator Keith Boykin made history as the first openly gay Black couple on reality television. In 2019, Nathan's dream came true when he was hired to direct and produce live-action films for Sesame Street's 49th Season. His film BURDEN (Nic Few, Tabitha Brown, Pauletta Washington) premiered at ABFF and has served as an innovative diversity, equity, and inclusion tool for Fortune 200 companies, law firms, and various organizations.


Nathan has also authored five books, Inspiration: Profiles of Black Women Changing Our World (Abrams), the award-winning novel, Ladies Who Lunch & Love (WHyN Press), The Girl’s Best Friend: A Collection of Essays on Love, Life & Sharing Your Light, What You Don’t Know IS Hurting: 4 Keys to A Phenomenal Career (Sunshine Publications), which was the #1 New Release on Amazon and is a #1 Best Seller, and True Diversity: Going Beyond the Pie Graph. 


Nathan is a contributing author to For Colored Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Still Not Enough, which won the 2012 American Library Association’s Stonewall Award for Non-Fiction Book of the Year and was nominated for a Lambda Literary Award. For nearly five years, Nathan was a columnist for Essence Magazine and has also written for Elle, The Huffington Post, The Root, and Black Enterprise, to name a few. 


A Chicago native, Nathan began appearing in theatre, commercials, and television shows at the age of 8. A classically trained dancer and actor, Nathan continued to perform and study at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He attended the George Washington University Law School where he was president of the Student Bar Association, a Dean’s Fellow, and the recipient of the GW Law Alumni Association Award for Outstanding Scholarship and Leadership. 


Nathan lives in Los Angeles and is a former board member of the Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival and a founding board member of Emil Wilbekin’s Native Son. 

Richard E. Pelzer II – Executive Producer

Richard E. Pelzer II, President & CEO of MEGA Personalities a Business Development Management Firm founded by him in 1994 based in New York City, the Co-Founder of HarlemCLX formerly known as Harlem 2020. A graduate from Kent State University in Ohio, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Art History and Business management, Pelzer's strong leadership skills and creative vision enable him to develop and manage business opportunities for clients in fashion, beauty and entertainment industries nationally and internationally.


Clients included; The NYSE Diversity Council, Sephora, Essence Magazine, The Apollo Theater, REALEMN Productions, SlayTV, and the NYCxDesign Week. Pelzer prides himself on his ability to cultivate long-lasting, creative partnerships and projects that stay within budget throughout fluctuations in the economic climate. His latest venture is Executive Producer of the film 90 DAYS, BURDEN, All Boys Aren't Blue, It Can Be Done: Ending Homelessness in America & coming in the fall of 2022 Love Will Save The Day all written/directed by Nathan Hale Williams.

Richard E. Pelzer II
Phill Wilson

Phill Wilson – Executive Producer

Phill Wilson is an internationally renowned HIV/AIDS advocate and activist. He is the founder and former President and CEO of the Black AIDS Institute, a think tank whose mission is to stop the AIDS pandemic in African American communities. He announced his retirement from the Institute in February 2018 and stepped down at the end of that year. 


Prior to founding the Institute in 1999, Mr. Wilson served as the AIDS Coordinator for the City of Los Angeles from 1990 to 1993, and the Director of Policy and Planning at AIDS Project Los Angeles from 1993 to 1996. He was co-chair of the Los Angeles County HIV Health Commission from 1990 to 1995, and was an appointee to the Health Resources & Services Administration AIDS Advisory Committee from 1995 to 1998.


Mr. Wilson was the co-founder of the National Black Lesbian and Gay Leadership Forum and the National Task Force on AIDS Prevention. He has been involved in the founding of a number of other AIDS service organizations and community-based organizations, including the Chris Brownlie Hospice, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the National Minority AIDS Council, the Los Angeles County Gay Men of Color Consortium, and the CAEAR Coalition.


Mr. Wilson has worked extensively on HIV/AIDS policy, research, prevention, and treatment issues in Western and Eastern Europe, sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia. He was the coordinator of the International Community Treatment and Science Workshop at the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th International AIDS Conferences. He has published articles in publications such as the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, LA Weekly, Essence, Ebony, Vibe, Jet, POZ, and HIV+.


Mr. Wilson holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University. In 2016, he received the Spirit of Justice Award from GLAD (GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders). He was named one of the “2005 Black History Makers in the Making” by Black Entertainment Television. In 2001, he was a recipient of the Ford Foundation’s Leadership for a Changing World award, and in the same year he was honored with amfAR’s Award of Courage.

Toni Y. Long - Executive Producer

Toni Y. Long is the Managing Partner and Founder of The Long Law Group, who specializes in Corporate and Entertainment transactional work.


Her Corporate practice focuses on corporate governance, maintenance and formation, asset/stock purchases and sales, securities, and other corporate issues, as well as serving as general corporate counsel. Since founding the firm, Toni has collaborated with other attorneys and counseled clients on complex M&A and financing transactions totaling more than $400 million.

Marcus Smith

Marcus Smith - Executive Producer


Marcus is a multiple Emmy Award-winning executive producer at KTLA 5 in Los Angeles. He was raised in Milwaukee and attended the University of Wisconsin. He is the son of Lorena Smith and Clarence Armstead of Chicago.
